Agricultural recruitment drop-in
22 October

Due to significant growth in the Agricultural department, we are looking for skilled and motivated individuals to deliver high quality and progressive training in Agriculture.
As an industry-focused college, a key priority for us is to ensure our teachers have quality industry experience to share, more so than a teaching qualification (we can help with that part of the job!)
The college farm and facilities are based around our 300Ha estate and include a 200 high index dairy herd, milked through a 32:32 rapid exit parlour and 2 Lely astronaut robots, a 350 ewe sheep flock, and a range of arable cropping including grassland, wheat, maize, and triticale.
The farm and estate are focused on a commercial business educational training farm and includes the full range of environmental schemes aligned to the transition of the industry post Brexit.
The college has also invested into a fully working vertical farm, state of the art horticultural facilities, modern glasshouses and hydroponics systems, and a world class food technology centre. Further investment will also be made into a new institute of technology, precision farming and robotic technology over the next 2 years.
Students are exposed to and experience a hands-on training farm from machinery operations, livestock, and crop production systems to ensure that they are employment focused and ready to take on challenging careers in the future.
Join us for a drop-in event on Saturday 22nd October, 10am – 1pm in the Agriculture department where you can meet tutors, teacher trainers and managers, plus see examples of the student work and our resources.
Don’t worry if you can’t attend the event, just call or email Susan Huxley for an informal chat on 01270 613261 or susan.huxley@mphpersonalstatement.com.
