“I studied floristry at Reaseheath for three years and I now work for Ian Lloyd, who’s a former Reaseheath student too. Ian is an award winning florist and judge and we work at some amazing weddings and events.
“Since working for Ian I’ve won two gold medals and one silver at RHS Chelsea’s ‘Young Florist of the Year’ and when I was a student I represented Reaseheath at the WorldSkills UK national finals.
“I love the variation of floristry. No day is the same and there are endless techniques to use and refine. I’m constantly learning and I find that so exciting.”

Industry view

“I love collaborating with the floristry department at Reaseheath and I enjoy sharing my thoughts with students on sustainability and eco-friendly floristry. There’s a growing interest in more natural and sustainable floral design and British flowers are undergoing a renaissance, which is so exciting for the industry.”
