“I’ve always wanted to become a veterinary nurse and I started my career path at Reaseheath as soon as I left school. I’d already had a couple of months’ experience at a practice so I settled in quickly and really enjoyed my course.
“I think the Level 2 course gives you a good base because you learn in clinical surroundings but without the pressure of a working practice. The lecturers are really supportive and will explain anything you don’t understand.
“I completed my work experience at a vet practice and was offered a full-time job there once I’d finished my course. I work busy shifts, but I really enjoy it because you’re helping animals and their owners.”
